Subscription for medical insurance
shall be according to the following sectors:-
Regular Sector:
It comprises the employees in both private
and public sectors who have specific employer, provided that
the number of the employees should not be less than (10).
10% shall be deducted from the total monthly salary (4%
deducted from the employee and 6% paid by the employer).
Semi Regular Sector:
It comprises bodies and segments of common
divider. Deduction account is calculated for individuals and
families in the regular sector.
Irregular Sector:
It comprises unpaid workers who have no
common divider with any other group (free Sector). Deduction
is calculated according to ce4rtian bases to be agreed
upon.
Sponsorship:
The subscriber has the right to sponsor his
family explained below and issue medical cards for them as
follows:
- Person (family Custodian).
- Wife or wives also the wife can sponsor her
husband.
- Father and mother.
- Unmarried daughters.
- Sons up to (18) years for the secondary
students or age of (24 years) for university or higher
institutes students.
Rules of Card Issuance:
Subscription in medical insurance is made by
obtaining medical insurance card to be issued according to
specific procedures , provided that the following documents
are to be presented:-
- Identification of the employee ( ID,
nationality, passport)
- Copy of marriage contract.
- Copy of the identification of parents,
husband or wife.
- Children’s birth certificates.
- One photo for each member of the family.
Lost of Insurance Card:

In the event of loss of the
insurance card, a loss report should be presented from the
nearest police station.

ID is to be presented + No of
the loss card.

A photo is to be presented.
Cases of Adding a Member:-

When adding sons, there to be
presented the ID o f the employee, birth certificate +
photos.

When adding couples, there to
be presented marriage contract in addition to the ID and
photo of the employer.
·
No employee is added in case
that the institution is introduced by 100% except upon
presenting ID of an employee that left work, referred to
pension or died, or otherwise the institution presents new
list of salaries.
The government and private institutions
should receive IDs of those dismissed for any reason to
enable it introduce new substitute in their places.
